Currently Living at: Shelter in NC - coming to DC soon!

Jack, along with sisters Chrissy and Janet, was rescued by a veterinarian in rural NC, an area where this litter of kittens wouldn't stand much of a chance in the shelter. These loves have lived at the vet clinic and stolen the hearts of the staff. Alas, they cannot live in the clinic forever and deserve forever homes of their own.

Jack is a beautiful ginger boy with exotic tabby markings. As anyone who has been owned by a ginger cat before knows, gingers tend to be full of personality and affection. Jack more than lives up to the stereotype! We will have better photos when he arrives in DC.

As older kittens, they are still adorable and playful, but have outgrown the super crazy kitten stage for the most part. The kittens play well together and would love to be placed together, but may go to separate homes.

All they ask of their forever family/families is to provide a loving home, lots of play, and snuggles. While the prospects of finding that in NC were much less likely, we hope their happily ever after will come much more easily in the DC area. They deserve it and will repay you with lots of kitten love!

Please note that cats adopted through DC PAWS must be indoor only, and may not be declawed.

The adoption fee for this cat is $135 for cats. If you are interested in adopting Jack, please submit an adoption application at https://dcpawsrescue.org/adoption-info/adoption-application-cats/.DC PAWS Rescue does our best to provide accurate and complete information about our adoptable animals. Please note that we cannot make any guarantees about age or breed; we rely upon our rescue partners and their veterinarians to make those assessments. We also cannot make any guarantees about housebreaking and animal temperament, as animals can behave differently through transition and in different environments.

Our shelter partners provide a basic vet screening for each animal we rescue, which includes necessary vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, and spay/neuter (unless the animal is too young or otherwise deemed by the vet to not be a good candidate for surgery). Please note that this is not a comprehensive medical exam and as such, may not identify any and all medical issues, though our goal is to flag any obvious health issues through the basic vet screening. We share all medical records with adopters and flag any known issues prior to adoption finalization.
